As a dog owner myself, I know how much our pets mean to us. They are part of the family, full of personality, and deserve to be photographed in a way that feels natural, relaxed and completely them.

North East Pet Photographer is the dedicated pet photography side of Sarah Johnson Photography.
My love of photography began with my own dogs, and as anyone with pets will understand, they quickly become part of the family. They make us laugh, keep us company, get us outside, and leave pawprints all over our lives.
Through relaxed outdoor pet photography sessions, I capture the character, connection and little expressions that make your dog, horse or pet completely unique.

Whether you have a dog, horse or another much-loved pet, my sessions are relaxed, patient and centred around your animal’s personality.
You don’t need a perfectly trained pet or a dog who can sit still on command. Sessions can include movement, play, quiet moments, lead removal where suitable, and natural portraits in outdoor locations across County Durham, Darlington, Teesside, Newcastle and the wider North East.
